About Bailey Minchington
Bailey Minchington lived a busy life, travelled to 20 countries, loved music, coffee, running and his family and friends. Bailey was a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful person who touched the lives of many with his generosity and intellect. He had a unique ability to bring kindness and encouragement to those around him.

Bailey’s resilience was unwavering. Diagnosed with Bipolar I disorder in early 2022, he faced immense challenges, including severe depressive episodes and multiple hospitalizations, yet he didn't let bipolar define him. Through it all, he found purpose and solace in running. In August 2024, he completed his first marathon with an impressive time of 2 hours and 50 minutes, using his achievement to raise nearly $7,000 for mental health charities. His dedication to both physical and mental well-being continues to inspire others.

Bailey passed away suddenly in November 2024 and in his memory, the Bailey Minchington Running Scholarships have been established to support young runners (ages 14-25) by providing access to coaching, running gear, event entry fees, and travel expenses. This initiative aims to carry forward Bailey’s passion for running while raising awareness about the powerful connection between physical activity and mental health.
